Community Room Rental

The Cameron – J. Jarvis Troup Municipal Library welcomes the use of its public room by nonprofit organizations and private groups in accordance with the following rules.


  • Needs for this space by the Library, the City of Troup and county/state official business, including the security and maintenance of the facility, take precedence over all other uses and considerations.
  • Reservations use can be made for up to a twelve-month period.
  • All paperwork and fees, including deposits, must be completed at least ONE week in advance of the scheduled use.
  • Requests will be handled on a first come/first served basis.
  • If rental is cancelled, the library MUST be notified 48 hours prior to use. If not, HALF of the deposit will be kept by the library and the other half will be returned to renter within 2 weeks.

Fees: $45

Community Service Clubs; Groups Classified As Nonprofit By The State And Federal Governments

User Category 3

Fees: $75

All Other Groups And Individuals

All renters must make a monetary deposit equal to the rental fee. Checks or cash only.
